Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance records
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate freight rates to reduce costs
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory accuracy and timely loading
- Implement and maintain shipping SOPs while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Act as primary liaison between customers, carriers, and internal departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Spanish bilingual proficiency required (cross-border operations)
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling experience preferred
