Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation
- Optimize transportation routes and schedules to minimize costs and delivery times
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse logistics with precision
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, warehouse, carriers) for operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate shipment records and provide real-time tracking updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping processes and carrier networks
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail with proven accuracy in documentation
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
