Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse operations to meet delivery deadlines
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays or discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, FMCSA)
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo flow
- Generate shipping reports and analyze logistics data for continuous improvement
- Implement cost-effective shipping strategies while maintaining service quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred (CSCP, CLTD)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Exceptional verbal/written communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
