Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Prepare and process customs documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, certificates)
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Maintain compliance with TSA, FDA, and CBP regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate loading/unloading
- Track inventory levels and reconcile shipment discrepancies
- Generate performance reports for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
