Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and distribution channels
- Manage inventory documentation and ensure compliance with federal shipping regulations
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Prepare commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation for international shipments
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Build strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination or warehouse management
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and hazardous materials handling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in documentation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
