Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with 3PLs and carriers to reduce costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively address delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and loading accuracy
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Act as primary liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred (CSCP, CLTD)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven problem-solving abilities in high-pressure shipping environments
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
