Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions for delays/damages
- Negotiate rates with freight carriers and optimize routing for cost-efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for integrated logistics planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, hazmat regulations, and customs documentation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
