Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates for cost efficiency
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipment databases
- Comply with international trade regulations and security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure situations
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
