Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and certificates of origin
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs while maintaining delivery SLAs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading scheduling
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and maritime regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role with ocean/air freight experience
- Proficient in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and export regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills with carriers
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments
- Relevant certifications (CSCP, CLTD, or CILT) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Valid driver's license with clean record
