Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, rail, and ground carriers
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and documentation in ERP systems
- Resolve shipping delays and customs clearance issues proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FDA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive environments
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field required
