Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Process and maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Track shipments in real-time using WMS/TMS systems and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping delays and exceptions through carrier negotiations and alternative routing
- Optimize freight costs through carrier selection and route optimization
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct regular audits of shipping processes and documentation compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
