Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance certificates
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve shipment exceptions and delays through carrier negotiations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination or supply chain role
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Experience negotiating carrier rates and contracts
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
