Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for high-value tech shipments across 15+ countries
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to achieve 95%+ on-time delivery
- Manage customs documentation, compliance, and international trade regulations
- Implement real-time tracking systems and provide proactive shipment status updates
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to resolve delivery exceptions
- Analyze shipping KPIs and recommend process improvements quarterly
- Train junior staff on shipping software and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics with tech industry background
- Expertise in customs brokerage, FOB/CIF terms, and Incoterms 2020
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, SAP Logistics)
- Certification in Customs Brokerage or CSCP preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex shipping data
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for high-priority shipment disruptions
- Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish or Mandarin required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
