Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and freight modes
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve delays
- Prepare and process customs documentation for international shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Maintain accurate shipment records and generate performance reports
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal departments
- Implement cost-saving strategies in transportation and logistics processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FTL experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Proven track record of meeting tight delivery deadlines
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
