Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs compliance
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Optimize transportation routes and schedules to minimize costs and delivery times
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and carrier teams to maintain seamless operations
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and international shipping standards
- Utilize WMS/TMS systems to monitor shipments and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics preferred
