Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple transport modes
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and clients to resolve transit issues
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Optimize routing to minimize costs and delivery times
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Generate shipment reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems and logistics software
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and export documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- OSHA certification or hazmat handling experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Valid California driver's license
