Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with carriers to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software (e.g., TMS, SAP)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and hazardous material handling
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to prioritize shipments and manage inventory
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Certification in logistics (e.g., CTL, CLTD) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Experience negotiating with freight carriers
- Strong attention to detail with documentation accuracy
