Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, carrier selection, and freight tracking
- Manage inventory control and warehouse operations to optimize stock levels
- Collaborate with customs brokers for international shipments
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and address client concerns proactively
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT, TSA, and international shipping regulations
- Train junior staff on shipping protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Familiarity with Incoterms and customs documentation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Experience with LTL/FTL carrier negotiations
