Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Coordinator and become the backbone of our supply chain operations! We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the end-to-end shipping process for our Atlanta-based distribution center. You'll ensure seamless coordination between suppliers, carriers, and clients while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily domestic/international shipments, including booking freight, tracking deliveries, and resolving transit issues
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, manifests) and inventory records
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of freight
- Implement and maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Blue Yonder)
- Familiarity with Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping processes, and customs brokerage
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping data and KPIs
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities during transit disruptions
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- APICS or CSCMP certification a plus
