Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation preparation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Track and monitor freight movement via air, sea, and ground carriers using TMS platforms
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to resolve transit delays
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate warehouse receiving/distribution activities
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Build relationships with carriers to negotiate favorable rates and service levels
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Descartes, Blue Yonder) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and export documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to resolve shipment exceptions proactively
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred for Latin American markets)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for urgent shipments
