Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations, including carrier selection, freight booking, and route optimization
- Manage inventory control systems and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse teams
- Prepare and process international/domestic shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Monitor real-time shipment tracking and proactively address transit delays
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse departments to ensure timely fulfillment
- Analyze shipping metrics and implement cost-reduction strategies
- Act as primary liaison between carriers, clients, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
