Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with ocean, air, and ground carriers
- Monitor shipments in real-time using our proprietary logistics platform
- Resolve transportation delays and implement contingency plans
- Maintain compliance with international trade regulations (FMC, CBP)
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Generate shipment reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (Descartes, Blue Yonder, or equivalent)
- Certified Customs Broker or ISTA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms® 2020 and export compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish highly valued
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
