Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments using logistics software (SAP, Oracle)
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, packing lists)
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory data
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to align shipping schedules with production demands
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics preferred
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of shipping regulations (DOT, IATA) and documentation requirements
