Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for domestic and international shipments
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Maintain accurate shipment documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide status updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate with stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Experience with LTL and FTL shipping methods
