Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier management
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with shipping partners to reduce costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively address delays or disruptions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile shipping data with ERP systems
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to align shipping schedules
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (FDA, DOT, customs)
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Descartes) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, L/C, and international shipping documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex logistics issues
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in documentation and data management
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
