Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping schedules using TMS software
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Oversee customs documentation and compliance for cross-border shipments
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
- Implement cost-saving measures in transportation logistics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Forklift certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- FMCSA Hazmat certification a plus
