Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation compliance
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies using ERP systems
- Liaise with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipment delays and customs issues
- Generate and maintain shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork
- Analyze logistics data to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and Incoterms
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
