Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping/receiving activities across 3 regional distribution centers
- Optimize freight routing using TMS software to reduce transit times by 15%
- Manage customs documentation for international shipments and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with carriers to resolve transit delays and maintain 99.5% on-time delivery rate
- Implement inventory controls using WMS to maintain real-time stock accuracy
- Analyze shipping KPIs and recommend cost-reduction strategies
- Mentor junior staff on compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or warehouse management
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- OSHA Hazmat certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Expert knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping regulations and carrier networks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping analytics dashboards
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean MVR
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
