Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international freight movements via truck, rail, and air carriers
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, CMRs)
- Optimize warehouse dock schedules for efficient loading/unloading
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle)
- Resolve shipping delays through proactive carrier negotiations
- Collaborate with customs brokers for clearance procedures
- Generate monthly logistics performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or JDA)
- US customs brokerage certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
- OSHA forklift certification preferred
- Experience with cross-border NAFTA/USMCA documentation
- Data analysis skills with Excel/Power BI
- Valid Texas driver's license
