Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Coordinator in Wichita! Global Logistics Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee end-to-end shipping operations, ensuring seamless domestic and international freight movement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize routes, maintain compliance, and drive efficiency in our fast-paced supply chain environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound/outbound shipments using TMS software
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices) for 100+ shipments weekly
- Resolve shipping delays and exceptions through carrier negotiations
- Analyze logistics data to reduce costs and improve delivery times
- Oversee warehouse inventory reconciliation and freight audits
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Maintain relationships with 15+ carriers and freight partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage high-volume shipment schedules
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
