We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage inbound/outbound shipments, optimize transportation routes, and ensure timely delivery of goods across the Southwest region. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and distribution channels
- Track and maintain shipment documentation including bills of lading and customs forms
- Resolve transportation delays and implement contingency plans
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Experience managing LTL/FTL shipments
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
