Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation preparation, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve delivery discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
- Manage customs brokerage compliance for international shipments
- Develop and maintain shipping schedules to meet client deadlines
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Act as primary liaison between customers, carriers, and internal departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under tight deadlines
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training a plus
- Exceptional verbal/written communication and multitasking abilities
