Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via air, rail, and ground carriers
- Process customs documentation and ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize shipping routes for cost efficiency
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and manage customer inquiries regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate warehouse receiving activities
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet client delivery requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred due to El Paso's cross-border operations
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
