Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including carrier selection, documentation, and customs clearance
- Track and trace shipments in real-time, proactively resolving delays and exceptions
- Manage warehouse inventory and optimize storage space utilization
- Collaborate with sales, production, and freight teams to align shipping schedules
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and compliance documents
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping efficiency and cost reduction
- Utilize TMS/WMS systems to monitor shipment status and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and work flexible hours including weekends
