Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Prepare and verify customs documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, certificates of origin)
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide proactive updates
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FDA, and international trade regulations
- Optimize routing and carrier relationships to reduce costs and transit times
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, Descartes, or SAP)
- Certification in customs brokerage or supply chain management preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international trade regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proven problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
