Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate domestic and international shipments (LTL, FCL, and Air Freight) to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory logs within the warehouse management system.
- Track shipments in real-time and update stakeholders on delivery status.
- Assist in the physical packing and loading of cargo when necessary to ensure safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
- Familiarity with shipping terms (FOB, Incoterms, etc.) and freight software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
