Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing freight shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Prepare and process complex shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, clients, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and inventory levels using ERP and TMS software.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize loading procedures and reduce freight damage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) such as SAP or Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume, busy warehouse setting.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
