Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation preparation
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate carrier contracts to minimize costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively address delays or exceptions
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Implement sustainable shipping practices to reduce environmental impact
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or warehouse management
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Manhattan Active) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of LTL, FTL, and international shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices)
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex shipping challenges
- Detail-oriented with proven accuracy in documentation and data management
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
