Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ground, rail)
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive status updates
- Optimize routing schedules to minimize transit times and reduce freight costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and coordinate with customs brokers for international shipments
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight coordination
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan, Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, hazmat regulations, and customs procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics a plus
