Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via ocean, air, and ground carriers
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms)
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and mitigate delays through carrier negotiations
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient dock scheduling and loading
- Maintain compliance with export regulations and trade compliance standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and maritime regulations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Proven problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Forklift certification a plus
