Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation including customs forms, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and collaborate with carriers for timely deliveries
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate warehouse activities
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder) and Excel
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Excellent communication abilities for carrier negotiations and client updates
- Ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines
- Forklift certification preferred
