Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and distribution channels
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize routing and freight costs through carrier negotiations and tendering
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate loading and unloading
- Maintain shipment databases and generate performance reports
- Act as primary point of contact for shipping inquiries and client updates
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software and transportation management systems
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure scenarios
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal/external stakeholders
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
