Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, manifests) for compliance and accuracy
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to reduce transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients for shipment status updates
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A/B) preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Forklift certification a plus
