Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
- Track freight status and communicate delays or issues to stakeholders immediately.
- Process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading and commercial invoices, in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and shipping logs.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and negotiate with carriers for the best rates.
- Assist in the development of shipping procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot shipping problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
