Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments efficiently to meet client deadlines.
- Prepare and process accurate shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Track shipments in real-time systems and proactively resolve any logistical delays or issues.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure total transparency.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with warehouse organization and auditing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations and customs requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and MS Office Suite.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable due to the diverse Miami market.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
