Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage documentation including customs forms, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to prioritize urgent orders
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Maintain accurate shipment databases and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification in logistics management (CLM, CSCP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs clearance procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
