Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation, carrier selection, and customs compliance
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or TMS)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and expedite urgent orders
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and carrier teams to optimize delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
- Negotiate rates and contracts with freight carriers
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping, and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Certification in logistics (e.g., CTL, CPL) preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued
