Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs compliance
- Optimize inventory management and warehouse workflows to minimize delays
- Track shipments using WMS/TMS systems and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve logistics disruptions and implement contingency strategies
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams for integrated operations
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma; bachelor’s degree in logistics preferred
- OSHA certification a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
