Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, optimizing routes and carrier selection
- Manage inventory control, tracking, and warehouse documentation systems
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and expedite urgent orders
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners
- Analyze logistics data to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Train staff on shipping protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail
- Relevant certification (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) preferred
