Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL)
- Manage order processing, documentation (BOLs, customs forms), and compliance with DOT/ITAR regulations
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive status updates to clients
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and negotiate rates with freight vendors
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading schedules and dock utilization
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate monthly performance reports
- Act as primary contact for clients regarding shipment inquiries and exceptions
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficient in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Manhattan Active) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, hazmat regulations, and customs procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve urgent shipment issues
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean MVR (for occasional warehouse visits)
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
